Hello my name is Lucia Renzo and I am founder of Discipline and Children, Parenting Solutions for You and Your Kids!

In 2010 I left the corporate world to raise my children and pursue my passion in Children’s Writing. Disciplining my children has been a difficult challenge for me because it seemed no matter what I did the effect was not lasting and the confrontations between my toddler and pre-schooler left me frustrated to the point of pulling out my hair.

I was reluctant to take my children to public places because of the scenes they made. Somehow they seemed to know how to push my buttons despite my calm demeanor. I was tired of struggling with this.

My friends and family with older children and teenagers warn me to “stick to my guns, set rules firm and prepare for bigger problems later”. I followed their advice and used different methods to discipline my children but nothing worked long term. I was disappointed in myself. I felt irritated and stressed with each situation, which lead to arguments with my husband.

But soon I discovered a few strategies that I implemented and they were effective! Now my children are behaving, listening and cooperating much easier than ever. I’m relieved because I found a lasting solution and a ‘win-win’ situation!
